Gymnastics is an excellent sport that develops, core movement skills, strength, coordination, self-confidence and body awareness for boys and girls.

You can still take part in gymnastics at the Loreburn Hall in Dumfries during our temporary closure.
Classes for adult and child where the focus is on learning through fun and play, progressing to independent classes with a greater focus on independent learning. A stimulating play environment that is the key to starting children on the sporting pathway and being active for life. Children will follow the Rainbow gymnastics award scheme and will be awarded certificates to show their progress through the scheme.
For children of all abilities to work through and complete the Rainbow gymnastics.The scheme tracks progress with Passports and stickers to encourage an active interest in sport for life. 10 week block per term.

Solway Gymnastics club
The Solway Gymnastics Club was formed In July 2014, by a group of parents and coaches who wished to offer the Gymnasts in the region an opportunity to take part in national Gymnastics events. The club committee is dedicated to ensuring that this new club flourishes. To become a member of this club children must already be in the Dumfries and Galloway gymnastics programme and development group.
